Portland, Ore. (November 4, 2008) — EFI Recycling, a locally owned and operated recycling company, recently completed the installation of a new Bulk Handling Systems (BHS) commercial sort line. The sort line will increase EFI’s ability to separate comingled commercial materials and send cleaner material to pulping mills. The sort line will increase EFI’s sort efficiency by up to 35 percent and has created four new jobs.

Since EFI is a locally owned and operated company selecting BHS, a Eugene based industrial manufacturer, to build and install the sort line was a natural fit. “We like to keep as many dollars in Oregon as possible. With a big ticket item like a new sort line, it’s even more important to find an Oregon company to do the work” said Scott Jenkins, vice president of EFI. “BHS has been outstanding, and we are looking forward to seeing just how much the sort line will help grow our business.”

Tours of the EFI facility are available upon request.
